WHO: Bogey Daddies Golf Club is a new golf club formed to serve both the Inland Empire and Santa Cruz County. We started this club with the intention of bringing a fun, no stress atmosphere to golf. A place where you can network and socialize with those in and around your community. We want to show that golf is more than just a day out on the course but a sport that can bring people together. Bogey Daddies is derived from laid back, fun golf rounds with Corey Hostetter, Victor Quinones, and Mike Sanchez. It would not be a Bogey Daddies Golf Round without mentioning The Sierra Hackfest group members who have been living the bogey daddy brand for the last 20+ years.
WHAT: Golf Club focused on engaging with their members and being able to give back to the players rather than dumping fees directly into various golf courses. We plan to provide bi-weekly golf outings, in addition to 5-10 challenges a year and 4-5 Golf tournaments a year. Membership dues go towards funding these events, as well as providing prizes such as golf clubs, rounds of golf, and golfing accessories.

WHY: When I think of why we want to start a golf club, there are two things that come to mind.
#1: Making a brand and a team you can be proud of. Regardless of whether you are a scratch golfer or a golfer who is praying they don’t scratch their driver when they catapult it into the bushes, we want to be there to promote the game of golf. We want to bring golfers of all skill levels together and allow our members to develop new friendships on the course. Wearing Bogey Daddies apparel, or going to a Bogey Daddies Event, you can assure people representing the brand are there for a good time and are there to connect with the Bogey Daddies Family around them.
#2 We do things a little differently with Bogey Daddies. Bogey Daddies’ mission is to give back to our players and give back to our communities as much as possible. Simply put, what our golf family puts in, we want to give back to them. With the membership fees and Bogey Daddy Brand purchases, all proceeds will go towards the funding of our tournaments, prize packages for players and members, and charitable donations. We have been a part of golf clubs before who have taken their membership fees and were never heard from again throughout the year. We value the golf courses in our area and want to play all of the courses we can that represent good golf in the areas we live. Bogey Daddies is a golf club by the members, for the members.
How: Membership dues can be done as either full time memberships or part time memberships. (Part time being for those who may still want to belong to a course in order to compete through them in open tournaments etc.). By purchasing an annual membership, you will receive:
GHIN access (handicap)
Discounts on all tournaments and apparel purchases
Community board notifying when and where we plan on playing (Both up north and down south)
Bi-monthly golf challenges for prizes for winners
Most return on investment into our club
We are Bogey Daddes Golf Club and we are looking forward to meeting all of our team members out on the course. I’ve always believed the game of golf can be grown, simply by making it a space that anyone could feel welcome in. This club is that space. Designed for the beginner golfer who can learn from their peers, and at the same time, designed for the scratch golfer looking to compete through the brand. When these two ideas come together on a team, this is how I believe this beautiful game grows.
